Carlos’N Charlie’s Austin is your Lake Travis headquarters for dining, drinks, and fun. They offer a full menu and are known for serving up the best drinks on Lake Travis. They have great live music acts and the hottest lake parties.
Cafe Blue is open again. Some may remember that the name was slightly different, but the food remains some of the best on the lake. They also serve Sunday Brunch.
The Gnarly Gar’s focus is to provide food and fun for everyone young and old. Todd was partner with Mike in the Pier but after Mike wanted to retire, Todd thought this was a great time to make some changes, create a new scene and have some fun. The Gnarly Gar was the answer.
Johnny Fin’s floating patio is an oasis on Lake Travis. Choose a table outside, right on the water. The sunset and live music both will make this experience enjoyable.
Tug’s is the only floating mobile BBQ restaurant on Lake Travis and you can find them right in Devils Cove nearly any weekend, barring bad weather our high winds.
Tug’s has a full menu including Brisket, Sausage, Ribs, Turkey and all the standard fair that goes with BBQ. Look for them any Saturday or Sunday anchored in Devil’s Cove. They also provide delivery service in Devil’s Cove whether you are deep in a tie-up or all by your lonesome.

Shades Cafe is open seasonally, and I have been fortunate enough to spend most of my winters cruising the Florida Keys and Bahamas on my boat. I opened Shades patterned after several little bars and restaurants straight from those trips to the Florida Keys.
Aunt Tilly’s did not make it after the recent flooding. It is unsure if or when they will re-open.
